SEOUL, Oct. 4 (Yonhap) -- Ahead of their 15th-anniversary concert, K-pop group 2NE1 shared their excitement, stating, "This is the moment we've dreamed of, and we're ready to show who we truly are through our original music and make everyone dance along," on October 3.
According to YG Entertainment, 2NE1 will hold their solo concert, Welcome Back in Seoul, from October 4-6 at the Olympic Hall in Seoul's Olympic Park, marking their first solo concert in almost a decade.
The members will perform their hit songs with a live band, adding a special touch to their iconic tracks. CL expressed, "We’ve had opportunities like performing at Coachella and occasional meetups, but this 15th anniversary felt like a chance to plan something extraordinary together. It’s incredible that we’re finally making it happen."
Sandara Park shared, "It feels surreal—ten years is no short time. As I look back, it feels like it went by in an instant, and I doubt I’ll fully realize it until we step on stage." Park Bom added, "I’ve been waiting for this moment. It feels like a dream," while Gong Minzy reflected, "We're all in awe, taking it all in."

Tickets for all three concert dates in Seoul sold out quickly. Sandara explained, "Rather than preparing something entirely new, we wanted to showcase what 2NE1 has always done best." Gong Minzy added, "Even though these performances reflect what we've always done, we’re approaching it with fresh perspectives and a sense of growth. We've all matured, so returning to this space feels deeply meaningful."
CL emphasized their commitment to preserving 2NE1’s original essence, saying, "In past tours, we often changed choreography or rearranged songs to show new sides of ourselves, but this time, we want to give fans the pure, classic 2NE1 experience. We've captured the essence of 2NE1 that everyone remembers and loves."
Reflecting on their 15th anniversary, CL commented, "Though it’s been 15 years in numbers, in my heart, it feels like we’re still in our sixth year. We’re back together after a long wait, and we aim to repay that wait with an unforgettable performance."
Following their Seoul concerts, 2NE1 is set to embark on an Asia tour.
