SEOUL December 28 (Yonhap) -- South Korean singer Park Jin-young donated billion won to support and help out children and infant patients.

According to the statement released by JYP Entertainment on Wednesday, artist Park Jin-young donated 500 thousand won each to Samsung Hospital in Seoul and NGO, World Vision on December 5.

The donated amount will be used to help out children and infant who are under the age of 24 years old, international age, on their surgery, recovery and more.

“I hope my donation will help out a lot of people and my action of donation will start a chain reaction of positive action where a lot of people will participate to help out kids to have a better future.” addressed Park Jin-young.

JYP Entertainment works closely with helping out the children and those who are in need of help to continue on with their treatment in terms of social contribution.

Through the project Every Dream Matters!” JYP Entertainment has helped out over 698 kids from 2020 to 2022.

The accumulated amount of donation JYP has done leads up to over 1.3 billion won and the Japanese branch of JYP has done over 230 million won.

Moreover, JYP Entertainment have help out over 230 kids by helping out with their dreams since 2019.

Continuing on with helpful actions JYP Entertainment engaged in project “Love Ocean” where they encouraged their fans to participate in a mission where JYP will later on accumulate number of fans who have participate in the event and donate 10 thousand won per fan to a group that works hard within the subject matter of Ocean Purification.
