GFRIEND Sowon, now Kim So-jung, holds hands with IOK Company

SEOUL, Aug. 2 (Yonhap) -- GFRIEND’s Sowon who had left Source Music as the group disbanded, is reported to have decided a new start with IOK Company.

“We will provide the artist with full support for her to spread her talents as an actress,” said the company today adding that the artist signed the contract.

Sowon also changed her official name into her real name, Kim So-jung.

Debuted in 2015 as the leader of GFRIEND she has been on music stages for about 7 years. She also successfully took part in various entertainment shows as an MC for “Look at me”, “Trend with Me” and more.

As a 3rd generation idol girl group GFRIEND was widely loved by the fans and many music listeners however announced the group’s disband on May.

IOK Company is a home for actors such as Zo In-sung, Koh Hyun-jung, Kim Ha-neul, comedian Lee Young-ja, Kim Sook and also singers including Jang Yoon-jung, B.I. and so on.
