SEOUL, Dec. 21 (Yonhap) -- Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MOFA) announced on Wednesday that 360,000 people from about 100 countries have expressed supports for the global campaign 'ENDviolence,' which began last July with UNICEF to prevent the violence against children.
This campaign was planed out to protect the children from various types of violent situations including regional conflict, climate crisis, and COVID-19.
Eminent people from various circles including Minister of Foreign Affairs along with singer Song Ga-in, president of UNICEFF Catherine Russell, and former secretary-general of the United Nations Ban Ki-moon participated.
MOFA said, "It can be evaluated that this campaign has been contributing to form a bond of sympathy to fulfill global value of protection of children's rights."
This campaign will run at MOFA public diplomacy's official channel KOREAZ.
