SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- Boy band ENHYPEN's Japanese single album has been certified double platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan (RIAJ).

The group earned double platinum after the cumulative net shipments for the Japanese single "DIMENSION : 閃光" surpassed 500,000 copies, as of May, according to the agency Belift Lab and RIAJ, Friday.

The RIAJ selects a gold disc based on the cumulative sales of albums every month.

The association certifies songs based on the cumulative sales, ranging from gold (over 100,000 copies) to platinum (over 250,000 copies), double platinum (over 500,000 copies), triple platinum (over 750,000 copies)and million (over 1,000,000 copies).
