SEOUL, Dec. 22 (Yonhap) -- The latest album by K-pop boy group Monsta X ranked 21st on Billboard's main album chart this week.
Released on Dec. 10, Monsta X's English-language studio album "The Dreaming" debuted at No. 21 on the latest Billboard 200 chart.
This is the second time that the boy band entered on Billboard 200. Its first English-language album "All About Luv," released in February last year, hit the top 5 on the main albums chart.
Monsta X's memeber Shownu also participated in working on "The Dreaming," which dropped about a year and 10 months after "All About Luv," before serving his mandatory military service in July.
In addition to the Billboard 200 chart, "The Dreaming" ranked No. 3 on Album Sales, Top Album Sales, Top Current Album Sales, and Independent Albums, respectively, and additionally succeeded in entering Billboard's Canadian Albums and Hot Trending Songs charts.
"We're just grateful that we were able to release a full-length English-language album," Monsta X said through its agency. "We'll make sure to work hard in various areas in the future."
