SEOUL, Sept. 6 (Yonhap) -- Traditional markets have been in our lives for a long time.

Traditional markets in each region have provided a variety of fresh food to local people, and have been pleasing to the eyes and mouth with local specialties for foreigners.

In the past, markets used to be established outdoors, however now it has improved in both convenience and hygiene aspects, including having roofs to avoid the rain.

Seen here are images gathered from the traditional market, where items have changed and diversified throughout the years.
