Singer Kim Jong-kook signs with Galaxy Corporation, joins GD and Song Kang-ho

SEOUL, Sept. 10 (Yonhap) -- Singer and entertainer Kim Jong-kook has signed an exclusive contract with Galaxy Corporation, home to K-pop star G-Dragon (GD) and actor Song Kang-ho, the company said Wednesday.

Galaxy Corporation said Kim is preparing to release an album marking the 30th anniversary of his debut and to hold a concert.

Kim debuted in 1995 as a member of the duo Turbo before pursuing a solo career. In 2005, he won grand prizes from all three major terrestrial broadcasters. He has also been active as a TV personality, winning the grand prize at the SBS Entertainment Awards in 2020.
