SEOUL, Sep. 3 (Yonhap) -- Multiple Korean artists have taken part in OST for Marvel's first Asian hero film "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings" (Shang-Chi).
The list of artists include Zion. T, BIBI and DPR LIVE.
This is the first time for Korean artists to participate in Marvel films' OST, according to '88 Rising,' 'media company in charge of producing OST Friday.
Zion T sang "Nomad" with a Japanese singer-songwriter Hoshino Gen. BIBI and Mark of GOT7 made a harmony with "Never Gonna Come Down."
Rookie musician Seori sang "Warriors" with an Indonesian rapper Warren Hue.
Asian artists including Chinese, Filipino and Indonesian and Asian American artists have taken part as well. Korean American musician Anderson Paak also known as Silk Sonic in the U.S. has also joined as well.
88 Rising is a media firm and label which has its headquarters in America has been supporting Asian artists' activities. It has explained their intention to introduce Pan-Asian artists through through the 'historical event' ㅡ the first Asian Marvel hero.
88 Rising is the first Asian firm to take over sound track albums' production for Marvel films.
"K-pop is being recognized by the whole world. Through the upcoming albums we wish for diverse Korean music scene to be globally introduced," said the head of the Asian media company.
