SEOUL, Nov. 7 (Yonhap) -- Thriller movie "Confession" starring So Ji-sub and Kim Yunjin has topped weekend box office for two consecutive weeks.
According to the data by the Korea Film Council, the movie maintained its top position by garnering 172,000 moviegoers from Nov. 4 to Nov. 7. The cumulative viewers stands at 536,000 people, and market sale at 35.4%.
The movie revolves around yong CEO of an IT company who becomes the prime suspect in a murder case and attorney Yang who hasn't lost in her career. Acting of So Ji-sub who is trying thriller for the first time, his partner Kim Yoonjin, and Nana have gained attention.
Lee Sung min's action drama "Remember" which was released on the same day as "Confession" placed second for two consecutive weeks. Total audience is 366,000.
Dwayne Johnson's hero movie "Black Adam" ranked third.
"Highway Family" starring Jung Il-woo and Ra Mi-ran debuted at No.8 on weekend box office.
Marble studio's new work "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" is to be released on Nov.9
