SEOUL, March 30 (Yonhap) -- League of Legends Esports tournament ‘Mid-Season Invitational (MSI)’ will be held in Busan, South Korea, in May.

LoL MSI is an international tournament where Spring Split champions from all regions participate to be world champions.

It is one of the most important international Esports tournaments along with the World Championship, which is held in the second half of the year.

Last year's MSI final set a record of an average of 10 million people per minute and up to 23 million people watching online.

The tournament will be opened at BEXCO (Busan Exhibition and Convention Center) from May 10th to 29th, according to Busan Metropolitan City, on Wednesday.
