SEOUL, Dec. 10 (Yonhap) -- BTS has top ranked for the most tweeted figure in the world for 5 years in a row.
Twitter has analyzed tweets of this year, from the start of the year to November 15th. And through issue keywords and figures, they announced the result Friday (KST).
During the survey period, BTS’ “#StopAsianHate” was retweeted 998,000 times and became the most retweeted tweet of the year.
Also, the band’s member Jung-kook’s kissing face emoji tweet received 2.5 million likes and ranked 2nd place for the most liked tweet.
The most liked tweet was the U.S president Joe Biden’s “It’s a new day in America” when he was inaugurated as the head of the country. It received 4 million likes.
Also, apart from BTS, Netflix Korean series “Squid Game,” took 3rd place for the most tweeted TV program showing that K-wave is going viral throughout Twitter.
