TXT lights up Lollapalooza Music Festival in Chicago

SEOUL, Aug. 7 (Yonhap) –- K-pop boy band Tomorrow X Together (TXT) heated up the night at a world-class music festival in Chicago, its agency said on Monday.
TXT took the stage as headliners at the Lollapalooza, held in Chicago, Illinois, on Saturday (local time), thrilling thousands of local audiences with their passionate performance, according to the group’s management Big Hit Music, which also manages K-pop superband BTS.
The concert lasted about 90 minutes, covering some 20 songs.
The crowd chanted "TXT" even before the performance began, calling for their favorite stars.
The five members appeared amidst cheers and opened the stage with their rock-based songs, "0X1=LOVESONG" and "Dear Sputnik."
During the performance of the members' self-composed song, "Blue Spring," the thousands of fans shook their cell phone flashes in unison while singing along.
U.S. star rapper Coi Leray also joined them on stage and performed "Happy Fools."
TXT expressed their gratitude, saying, "We are thankful to have met you all as the headliner on the dream stage. We'll be back soon with the remaining world tour, new albums, and various activities."
The stage was live-streamed through platforms such as YouTube and fan-dedicated platform Weverse Live.
Approximately 75,000 viewers watched the live cast on YouTube, while around 120,000 viewers tuned in on Weverse Live.
TXT will continue their world tour with concerts in Jakarta, Indonesia, on Wednesday and Manila, the Philippines, on Sunday.
