SEOUL, Dec. 8 (Yonhap) -- Singer-songwriter Lim Kim (real name Kim Ye-rim) who started as folk duo “Twogeworl,” will start activities with a new agency.
“We have signed a deal with Kim. It is honor to be with Kim who receives big love with her irreplaceable voice,” said the new agency New Entry Thursday.
New Entry is a company established by CEO Sung Sang-hyun who worked in major entertainment firms such as SM, FNC and Cube Entertainments.
“I am preparing a new me and music to approach closer to the public. I will do many activities,” said Kim through the agency.
Currently, the artist is preparing a new album and is planning to engage in various fields such as acting as well.
Kim gained popularity appearing in Mnet audition program “Super Star K3” as a duo in 2011. Later, she released songs such as “All right,” “Voice” and “Rain” as duo and solo.
After “Stay Ever” in 2015, she had a long break but in 2019 changed her stage name from Kim Ye-rim to Lim Kim and started dropping intense hip-hop songs with electronic sounds.
