SEOUL, Feb. 29 (Yonhap) -- On the 29th, Big Hit Music announced that two solo songs by BTS's Jungkook, 'Seven' and 'Euphoria,' have surpassed 100 million cumulative streams in Japan, earning them Platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of Japan.
According to BigHit Music, the songs "Seven" and "Euphoria" received Platinum certification in the streaming category from the association.
The Recording Industry Association of Japan distinguishes certifications based on the cumulative streaming numbers, with Gold certification for over 50 million streams, Platinum for over 100 million streams, and Diamond for over 500 million streams. The association awards certifications monthly.
This achievement adds to BTS's success in Japan, with the group's track "Telepathy," from the 2020 album "BE," previously receiving Gold certification in the streaming category. This marks BTS's 39th song to achieve Gold certification in Japan, showcasing the group's continued popularity in the country.
