SEOUL, November 3 (Yonhap) -- Nexon's new game "Dave the Diver," released by Nexon's sub-brand Mint Rocket in late October, ranked fourth in popular games on the global PC game platform Steam a week after its release.
According to Steam on Thursday, the game "Dave the Diver," which was released on October 27, ranked fourth in the "best popular game" ranking based on its sales revenue. The game ranked second based on paid package games.
The games that ranked first and second are both free games: "APEX Legend," released by EA, and "PUBG: Battlegrounds," released by Krafton. The third was "Call of Duty, Modern Warfare II," which was released on October 28, by Activision Blizzard.
"Dave the Diver" is an ocean adventure game set in a blue hole in which the eco-system and topography change each time the player enters. The player captures marine life during the day and runs a sushi restaurant at night.
Nexon added three chapters, including boss missions, minigames, and story missions, to the new version from the early access version. The official version will be released next year.
