SEOUL, Nov. 4 (Yonhap) -- DVD of BTS’s online concert in October 2020 “BTS MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E) has topped on Japan’s Oricon Weekly Chart.
The DVD containing the concert’s site ranked No. 1 on “Weekly DVD Ranking,” according to the band’s agency Big Hit Music and Oricon Thursday.
Tue video’s Blu-ray Disk version has also ranked 1st place on “Blu-ray Ranking” and “Music DVD Blue-ray Ranking.”
The DVD and the Blu-ray Disk are known to have marked 63,000 and 100,000 sales figure for the last one week.
The agency said that it was the largest first-week sales for a Blu-ray Disk.
“Following the previous “BTS Memories of 2020’s Blue-ray Disk” released in August marking 1st place on ‘Blue-ray Ranking,’ 2 consecutive productions have marked top rank. In total, six productions have taken 1st place,” explained the agency.
