SEOUL, July 17 (Yonhap) -- Wonwoo of K-pop boy group SEVENTEEN released a self-composed song titled "Gogae" on Thursday in celebration of his birthday, his agency Pledis Entertainment said.

"Gogae" is a ballad featuring soft piano and string sounds. The lyrics liken life to the act of crossing a mountain pass, delivering a message of perseverance and hope—pressing forward toward tomorrow despite hardships.

Wonwoo took part in both writing and composing the song, conveying his heartfelt message to fans.
