SEOUL, Nov. 22 (Yonhap) -- "All we wanted to do was to spread love, the good vibe and energy from music and performance. But without you guys, ARMY, it could never have been done that much. Thank you so much I appreciate it,” said RM during their acceptance speech at the AMA’s 2021 for Favorite Pop Duo or Group Award.
As soon as BTS rushed out to the stage, protruding towards the audiences, the watchers boomed with claps and cheers for the South Korean super band.
BTS took over the 2021 AMA’s stage Monday, sweeping 3 awards including the most honorable, the “Artist Of The Year” Award.
Through their performances, the boys exerted to the world their power and position within the mainstream of American pop-music industry.

The host for the ceremony was America’s the most popular and one of the most renowned female rapper Cardi B.
After Silk Sonic, the band climbed up the stage second to live-perform with band Cold Play. Together, the two bands presented their collaborated song “My Universe,” which was a chart-topper on Billboard Hot 100, for the first time ever.
BTS grabbed each others’ shoulders and enjoyed the stage. The members ran from one side of the stage to the other to heat up the scene and fireworks were blasting from the stage in accordance with the song’s rhythm.
After finishing the performance, the duet-groups showed their friendship tightly hugging each other.
Member Jin did the thumbs up in confidence and Jimin blew kisses to the cameras.
The band’s fashions for the stage were impressive as well.
On the red carpet, they were wearing quite loose-fit suits but on stage for “My Universe,” they were changed into black or gray and comfortable clothes to focus on the performance.
RM’s fashion point was a pair of sunglasses and V’s was a red bandana wrapped around his head.

Later the band’s second stage and the awards ceremony’s grand finale was their biggest hit song “Butter” that clinched 1st place for 10 weeks on Billboard. BTS, as the winner of the most honorable award, was the one to open up and close the whole ceremony.
Like the title, the 7 boys wore yellow clothes and the whole stage was yellow ‘butter’ color. All the celebrities and the audiences there were united as one to wave their hands up in the air and to enjoy the song.
The humble band did not miss their gratitude to the ARMYs around the world whenever they were awarded with a trophy.
“Actually it means to us even more because we were actually a small boy band from Korea. But without you guys, ARMY, it could never have been done that much. Thank you so much I appreciate it,” said the humble leader after grabbing the “Favorite Pop Duo or Group” Award.

Especially, they couldn’t suppress the excitement when they were announced as the winner of the “Artist Of The Year” Award. Jung-kook stroked his chest while delivering an award acceptance speech and Jin, watching his gesture, patted him on the shoulder.
The seated fans kept cheering the 7 boys making hearts with their hands.
RM thanked the fans many times and tried to express how honored they were.
Trying his best to keep the bursting emotions down, the leader started their acceptance speech for the biggest award saying, “I seriously forgot what I wanted to say.”
“Nobody could have ever bet on the odds of us standing here and receiving this award, except you all ARMY. Seriously, we would never take this for granted. Thank you so much. Love you all. We want to give this honor to you guys,” said RM, all in English.
“4 years ago, we first debuted on the American stage through the AMAs, which is all thanks to our ARMYs. I really thank you,” said Suga in Korean.
