SEOUL, April 1 (Yonhap) -- KBS (Korea Broadcasting System) announced on Saturday that the drama "Good Doctor" (2013) is being remade in 10 foreign countries, including China, Italy and India, following the U.S., Japan, and Turkey.
The Chinese version of "Good Doctor" will be broadcast on Hunan TV and Mango TV this year.
The U.S. ABC, which has been broadcasting remakes of “Good Doctor” since 2017, will produce Season 6 soon, KBS reported.
The Korean series, which aired in 2013, depicted the lives of pediatric surgeons and the romance between an autistic savant (Joo Won) and his senior coworker (Moon Chae-won).
