SEOUL, Jan. 13 (Yonhap) -- Boy group CIX member Bae Jin-young will star in a Thai-Singapore collaboration film, according to his agency C9 Entertainment, Thursday.
The star will make his big-screen debut as the leading role.
Popular actors based in Singapore including Damien Teo and Xu Bin will star in the film.
Bae Jin-young, who gained recognition by appearing in the 2017 Mnet audition program "Produce 101: Season 2,” debuted as a member of group Wanna One. Since then, he shifted to being a solo singer and became a member of the group CIX in 2019.
He recently began his acting career as the male lead in the drama “User Not Found” (2021~2022).
