SEOUL, July 10 (Yonhap) — K-pop boy group ATEEZ’s member San has been confirmed to be infected with the novel coronavirus and will postpone all activities.
San conducted the COVID-19 test again on Friday and found to have tested positive today. However, the rest of the members were tested negative, according to the band’s agency KQ Entertainment.
As of now, ATEEZ will immediately postpone all scheduled events, and the rest of the members and related staff will actively follow the health authorities' instructions and procedures, the agency added.
Earlier on July 6, ATEEZ conducted a coronavirus 19 test after hearing that an outsourced employee accompanying the group was confirmed. All members were tested negative at the time.
However, the group underwent another COVID-19 test in order to re-confirm the results. The members showed no signs of fever or other symptoms.
San posted on the group’s fan community, saying, "I'm in a very good condition right now. I have a good appetite and currently not experiencing any pain. don't have any pain. I'll show you that this disease is nothing to us once I get better."
