SEOUL, July 19 (Yonhap) -- On Tuesday, YG Entertainment, the agency of girl group BLACKPINK, announced that Lisa's solo song "MONEY" surpassed 500 million streams on Spotify, the world's largest music platform.
This is a record that has been achieved after 313 days since it was released on September 10 last year.
"It is the shortest period for a K-pop solo artist to reach 500 million streams," said YG Entertainment.
Lisa has become a singer with a total of four 500 million streaming songs on Spotify, including BLACKPINK's songs, namely "How You Like That," "Kill This Love," "DDU-DU DDU-DU," and her solo song, "MONEY."
Although "MONEY" is a track song without a music video, it was very popular and climbed back up on major world charts.
