South Gyeongsang Province to help out rising musicians

SEOUL March 23 (Yonhap) -- South Gyeongsang Province addressed on Thursday, that they are supporting the Musisis’ production business and concert venues and to provide foundation on reviving the musicians from South Gyeongsang Province.

The supporting project for creating various music albums will select in total of 8 various teams to support their process of making the album.

From recording process to mastering, creation process to marketing channels, promotion, various steps of creating a track and album will be supported by the project.

Musicians who have been selected will be supported with different amount of funds depending on their music projects, those who are working on single album will receive up to maximum of 5 million won , whereas those who are working on Ep album will receive up to 8 million won. Moreover those who are working on a full length album will receive up to 10 million won.

The Musisis which incorporates high quality of equipments and instruments are free to use for those working on their projects and for those who do not have the experience of working on music will receive the opportunity to participate in a mentoring program where they will provide one on one mentoring.

Supporting project for various music concerts will feature one of the team and it will support the musical venue being held within the South Gyeongsang Province.

In total, the project will provide the winner with up to 5 million won in supporting fund to help out with renting, advertisement and in various other aspects to host the show. Moreover, Musisis will provide the advertisement channel through their official online channel.
