ULSAN, Mar. 14 (Yonhap) – The Ulju Mountain Film Festival(UMFF) announced on Mar. 14 that it has appointed actress Park Gyu-ri as an ambassador of the 7th UMFF.
Park will perform with a mountaineer Um Hong-gil, who has been a part of UMFF since the Pre-festival.
Park debuted as a child actress and drew attention at home and abroad by performing as a member of K-pop girl group “KARA.”
The actress has played diverse characters in movies “Two Rooms, Two Nights,” “How to Break up with My Cat,” and “Beautiful Food” since 2016.
The UMFF introduced, “Park has been expanding her boundaries as an actress through various movies and dramas in both Korea and Japan, and this resembles the UMFF’s spirit of challenge and love towards nature.”
Actress Park and Um will perform diverse promotional activities, such as meeting the audience in person at the opening ceremony of the 7th Ulju Mountain Film Festival on Apr. 1.
This year’s Ulju Mountain Film Festival will be held at Yeongnam Alps’ Cultural Center in Ulju-gun from Apr. 1 to Apr. 10.
The 148 films from 42 countries and diverse experience programs will be provided to the audience.
