SEOUL, Oct. 27 (Yonhap) -- In a recent article posted by Forbes, a leading American business magazine, K-pop girl group aespa was evaluated to have already experienced "success far beyond the borders."

"South Korean girl group aespa started releasing music less than a full year ago, but they have already experienced success far beyond the border of their home country," Forbes wrote on Oct. 24 (local time). "Aespa's debut set Savage opens at No. 2 on this week's Top Album Sales chart, Billboard's look at the 100 titles that actually sold the most copies in the U.S."

Going forward, Forbes added that aespa has become the fourth K-pop girl group to enter in the top 10 of the Top Album Sales chart, joining BLACKPINK, Twice, and ITZY.

In addition, aespa sold 17,500 albums in the U.S. alone and as a result, ranked No. 20 on the Billboard 200 chart.

Forbes analyzed "Savage" to become "one of the most successful releases in U.S. history by a South Korean girl group."
