SEOUL, Feb. 11(Yonhap) – K-pop boy group 2am’s Jo Kwon has tested positive for COVID-19 on Feb. 11, a day before the 2am concert, which was scheduled to be held in 9 years.
As a result, the 2am concert, which was planned to be held both online and offline from Feb. 12 to Feb. 13, was cancelled.
Culture Depot and Dreamus, which hosted the concert, said in the announcement, “Jo Kwon has tested positive for the coronavirus and therefore decided to cancel the concert,” adding, “We will plan the future concert schedule after examining the spread of COVID-19 and situations regarding concerts of each local government.”
Jo Kwon is reported to have completed the third vaccine shots.
