SEOUL, Apr. 8 (Yonhap) -- K-pop girl group LE SSERAFIM's member SAKURA has been selected as a cover model of the May issue of Japanese fashion magazine 'Sweet', according to the announcement of SOURCE MUSIC agency on the 8th.
The pictorial is held to celebrate SAKURA's selection as an exclusive model for Japanese women's clothing brand Lily Brown.
Source Music says, "SAKURA is proving its popularity to the point where she is selected as a clothing brand model and decorated the cover of a famous magazine even before her official debut."
Sakura debuted in 2012 as member of the first generation of Japanese girl group HKT48 and enjoyed popularity, performing actively as a key member of HKT48 and AKB48. In 2018, she ranked second in Mnet's audition program "PRODUCE 48" and performed as K-pop girl group IZ*ONE for two and a half years.
She is about to make her third debut as LE SSERAFIM next month.
LE SSERAFIM is the first girl group to be introduced by HYBE and SOURCE MUSIC in collaboration.
