SEOUL September 22 (Yonhap) -- Part of England premier league, Chelsea’s commercial director was fired after sending an inappropriate message to a Korean female agent.
According England’s sports news media Sky Sports on September 21 (UK time) “Chelsea Football Club confirms that it has terminated commercial director Damian Willoughby's employment with immediate effect.” adding “Evidence of inappropriate messages sent by Mr Willoughby, prior to his appointment at Chelsea FC earlier this month, has recently been provided to and investigated by the club” addressed spokesperson from Chelsea.
It has been confirmed that Willoughby has sent Catalina Kim, a founder and chief executive of C&P Sports Group sexually inappropriate sex messages and videos.
Despite of Catalina Kim’s numerous rejects, Willoughby continued on with his inappropriate behaviors.
After thorough investigation Chelsea sacked Willoughby, which is only two weeks since he has been appointed as a commercial director.
"While they were sent prior to his employment at the club, such behavior runs absolutely counter to the workplace environment and corporate culture being established by the club's new ownership.” addressed spokesperson from Chelsea.
