SEOUL,
Aug. 27 (Yonhap) -- K-pop
The track, first featured on her third album, became popular for its candid lyrics offering a unique perspective on breakup.
"Revisiting 'Please' after 23 years feels completely new," Wax said. "Back then, I simply sang the lyrics, but now I can truly understand them on a deeper level. The message that you only come to truly know someone after parting resonates with me even more."
The release is part of her "RE:WAX" project, which revisits and reinterprets the singer’s most representative works.
