SEOUL, Jan. 25 (Yonhap) – Disney+ has confirmed the premiere date for the original drama series “Big Bet” season 2, starring South Korean veteran actors Choi Min Sik, Son Seok-goo, and Heo Sung-tae.
The last episode of the first season will be hitting the small screens on Jan. 25; the new season will be kicking off on Feb. 15 with the release of the first three episodes. After that, one episode will be aired every Wednesday at 5 p.m. (KST) for a total of 8 episodes.
“Big Bet” tells the story of Cha Mu-sik -- played by Choi Min-sik --, a man who became a legendary figure in a casino in the Philippines and gets tangled in a murder case. In the second season, an even greater challenge will befall Cha Mu-sik due to the investigation held by police Oh Seung-hoon -- played by Son Seok-goo -- dispatched to the Philippines.
Cha Mu-sik in this eight-part series is expected to face even more enthralling and fatal situations that will keep viewers on the edge of their seats.
