SEOUL March 9 (Yonhap) -- Producers of “Physical 100” has once again emphasized that there has not been a manipulation of the final winner by showcasing a full version of the final round to solidify their innocence.
Throughout the press conference regarding the manipulation of the final winner of the Netflix program “Physical 100” held in Golden Mouth Hall located in MBC on Thursday producer Jang Ho-gi addressed the truth regarding the cyclist Jung Hae-min’s claim regarding the sudden halts throughout the match which had effect on the outcome of the final round.
Cyclist Jung Hae-min stated that the final round of the competition which consisted of both competitors pulling ropes was interrupted once due to Woo Jin-yong’s request. Continuing on, the game was abruptly put to a stop once again due to producer’s interruption.
Towards the accusation, producer Jang stated “Throughout the first round of the match the accusation regarding contestant Woo Jin-yong holding up his hand to put a pause to the competition is not true. However back when I was going through the process of editing.” adding “I am very sorry for causing inconvenience to all of the participants and viewers of the program. I will do my best to meet with both contestants to explain in detail what has happened and why actions, such as putting a pause to the match was necessary so that both sides can understand the situation.”
