SEOUL, April 28 (Yonhap) -- Girl group Girl's Day member Bang Min-ah has been cast for MBC TV's new drama "Please Check the Event!" (tentative title) and will return to the TV screens after two years, according to her agency.
On the 27th, Bang Min-ah announced to have been cast for the upcoming drama, which is scheduled to air in the second half of the year.
The drama, which won the MBC Drama Screenplay Contest last year, depicts a story of a broken up couple winning a trip at an event where they have participated by acting as lovers.
Bang Min-ah plays Ha Song-i, a botanical garden coordinator who is confident and honest with her feelings.
