SEOUL, July 18 (Yonhap) -- Web based service "weverse" introduced a new feature called “weverse live” which will allow users with option to join the artist's live video streaming, announced weverse company on Monday.


Weverse Company which runs a global fan platform called “weverse” is a subsidiary of global super star BTS’s agency Hybe.

Weverse Company acquired South Korean search engine Naver’s artist streaming platform “VLIVE” last year and currently working on merging “weverse” and “VLIVE” together.

Currently “weverse” is implementing the video technology of “VLIVE” to crop, edit texts, live stream feature and more so that users can interact with the artist more freely.

“Weverse live” provides Live video streaming service and booked Live Streaming Service. Also they have added a feature where even during the live streaming session users can drag the progress bar around to freely move around the video to parts that they have missed.

Moreover, the user interface of the weverse application has renewed so that the latest news can be quickly delivered to its users.
