SEOUL, Aug. 17 (Yonhap) -- Rookie boy bands who stepped into the music scene 1~2 years ago, during the COVID-19 pandemic will join the August come-back line-up with their new albums.
Cravity, a 9-piece boy band of Starship Entertainment, will release their first regular album part 1 "The AWAKENING: Written in the stars" on the 19th of August,
It is their first regular album in 1 year and 4 months since debut after finishing the series "HIDEOUT."
The album contains the group's strong will, unstoppable by any outer oppressions or barriers, to make progress.
The title song "Gas Pedal" compares the group's history of growth with a car's accelerator.
It is a hiphop genre with its ascending structure and ear-catching fast beat. Member Serim and Allen have well-delivered the group's message by writing the rap verses by themselves.
The album, depicting nine pieces of youth stories, includes 8 side tracks such as "VENI VIDI VICI," "CHINGA-LINGA," Grand Prix," and "Divin'."
T1419, a boy band of MLD Entertainment, collaborated with NHN and global music company, Sony Music, will drop their 3rd single "Before Sunrise Part 3" on the 23rd.
Its title song is "FLEX" which means showing off and boasting.
"As the group is gaining attention with its music that well represents the voices of teenagers, we will strive to depict more profound social message and expanded universe through the upcoming album," said the group's management agency.
Mirae, DSP's boy band in 9 years, will unveil their 2nd mini album "Splash" on the 25th of August.
Its title song "Splash" is a hybrid genre of hiphop, trap and R&B (Rythem and Blues).
It expresses an ambition to keep advancing without fearing the first-met ocean and waves. BM, member of co-ed group KARD in the same agency, Khael and Lee Jun-hyuk from Mirae have put their name up in the list of lyric producers for the song.
MCND, a group debuted in Februrary 2020, just after the spread of the coronavirus, will return with their 3rd mini album "THE EARTH: SECRET MISSIO Chapter.1" on the 31st.
Track lists including the title song and information about the side tracks will be revealed later.
Through a recently uploaded performance video "REASON," the group has delivered their hopes to meet and communicate the fans.
