SEOUL, April 13 (Yonhap) -- SOOHYUN, HOON, and KISEOP of K-pop boy group U-KISS donated 2,000kg of rice to Hanam city branch of Gyeonggi Association of the Deaf on the 12th.
U-KISS said on the 13th that they decided on this donation to help the neighbor with KISSme (name of U-KISS official fan club) for the upcoming May, the Family Month.
U-KISS said that "We sincerely hope our donation could be a warm comfort for people, while we are having tough times due to COVID-19."
The association will deliver donated rice to households with hearing·language disabilities in the local community who need help.
U-KISS recently donated ten million won for refugees of Ukraine, as well as twenty million won of medical expense for pediatric patients.
After a debut with their first mini-album 'New Generation' in 2008, U-KISS have released hit songs such as "Am I that easy?," and "Bingeul Bingeul."
Last January, SOOHYUN, HOON, and KISEOP signed an exclusive contract with tango music, a new agency.
