SEOUL, June 10 (Yonhap) -- Actor Seo Kang-jun will make his small screen comeback in the MBC Friday-Saturday drama 'Undercover High School' following his discharge from military service.
MBC announced on the 10th that Seo Kang-jun has been cast as the lead in this new drama.
The storyline revolves around the adventures of an elite National Intelligence Service (NIS) agent who goes undercover as a high school student to track down the whereabouts of the missing gold treasure of Emperor Gojong. Seo Kang-jun will portray Jeong Hae-seong, the ace agent of the NIS. This will be his first project since the 2022 Disney+ drama 'Grid'.
The drama is written by Lim Young-bin, known for works such as 'Sketch' and 'The Judgement', and directed by Choi Jung-in, who helmed 'Flower of Evil'. 'Undercover High School' is set to air sometime next year.
