SEOUL, April 4 (Yonhap) -- "Blue Man Group," which attracted 35 million audiences around the world with non-verbal performances, will visit Korea for the first time in 14 years.
Performance production company Mast Entertainment announced on Monday that the Blue Man Group performance by three artists dressed in blue will be held at COEX Artium in Gangnam-gu, Seoul from June 15 to August 7.
The Blue Man Group pushed for its first performance in 12 years in 2020, but the performance was canceled in the aftermath of COVID-19.
The Blue Man Group presents performances that create a festival full of happiness through art, music, comedy, and non-verbal communication. The concert will feature new music, fresh stories, custom instruments, and graphics that stimulate the senses.
Since their debut at the Astor Place Theater in New York in 1991, the group has entertained audiences in the Americas, Europe and Asia. It also appeared in numerous show programs as well as movies and TV, and the album "Audio" was nominated for a Grammy. The group is currently a member of the Cirque du Soleil.
