SUPER JUNIOR’s Kim Heechul donates 100 mln won in celebration of birthday

SEOUL, July 6 (Yonhap) -- The Blue Tree Foundation announced on Wednesday that SUPER JUNIOR’s Kim Heechul donated 100 million won (US$76,700) in celebration of his 40th birthday on July 10. 

The donation will be used for the operation of the School Violence Issue Research Institute. With this contribution, Kim Heechul has been appointed as a Platinum Star member of the Blue Honors Club, a high-profile donor group within the Blue Tree Foundation. 

In February 2022, he also donated 100 million won to support the adolescents affected by school violence.
