SEOUL, August 10 (Yonhap) -- S. Korean girl group NewJeans' debut song “Attention” topped the Melon Top 100 chart, the agency ADOR announced on Wednesday.
New Jeans' “Attention” topped the Melon Top 100 chart as of 11 p.m. on Tuesday. At around 3 p.m. on Wednesday, it ranked second on the chart.
NewJeans' “Hype Boy” and “Cookie” ranked to the 6th and 38th place on the Melon Top 100 chart, respectively.
NewJeans took first place on Spotify’s “Daily Top Songs” in Korea on Monday with “Attention.”
NewJeans' debut album “New Jeans” sold 262,815 copies on the day of its release, setting the record for the highest sales as of the first day of the girl group's debut album.
On the same day, ADOR said through their social media that it would take legal action in case of defamation of NewJeans.
"We will take strict measures against those with malicious acts,” said ADOR. “No agreement will be made.”
