SEOUL, Mar. 27 (Yonhap) -- The 37th Icheon Ceramic Festival is set to be held from Apr. 26 to May 7 at the city’s YesPark and Sagimakgol Pottery Village.
Diverse ceramics will be sold at cheaper prices at 240 workshops in the YesPark, where there will also be an experience zone, a performance zone, a food zone, and an exhibition zone ready to meet the visitors.
Visitors will be able to experience traditional ceramic cultures such as spinning a wheel and making soil and firewood kilns at the experience zone. Meanwhile, the playground with a trampoline and local special promotion centers will also be available along with a long line of food trucks.
In the meantime, the Icheon Saemaul Branch and the Icheon Women’s Association Council will be operating diverse food booths using local specialties at the food zone.
The Icheon Ceramic Tableware Exhibition will be held at the exhibition zone where the brand-new Digital Technology Convergence Hall will be ready to showcase ceramics for daily use and demonstrate 3D painting.
