K-pop boy group Astro's MJ to debut as solo artist next month

SEOUL, Oct. 28 (Yonhap) -- MJ, a member of K-pop boy group Astro, will debut as a solo artist by releasing his individual song "Get Set Yo" on Nov. 3, according to Fantagio Music on Thursday.

MJ released several concept photos of his first solo digital single "Happy Virus" and title track "Get Set Yo" on social media.

"Get Set Yo," is a semi-trot genre song produced by trot singer Young Tak. Kim Tae-yeon, who is also known as a 'trot prodigy," will be featuring in the song.

Debuting as the main vocalist of Astro, MJ also is part of a project group called Super Five and has been active as a musical actor as well as in other various fields of entertainment
