SEOUL, September 15 (Yonhap) -- Korean girl group DIA will be disbanding on September 17, after 7 years.
DIA's agency Pocket Dol Studio announced on Thursday "The contract between DIA, a group of 7 years' history has expired."
The group's schedules for TV music programs were also canceled due to Jung Chae-yeon's injury.
DIA made their debut with the song "Do It Amazing" in September of 2015, and continued with "Will You Go Out With Me?," "On the Road," and "WooWoo." Members Jung Chae-yeon and Hui-hyeon also appeared in the MNET Audition Program "Produce 101" and showed active participation.
All of the members are leaving their current agency, Pocket Dol Entertainment.
To celebrate their seventh anniversary, DIA uploaded their group picture and handwritten letters on their official social media to thank their fans
The group released their last song, "Rooting For You," on September 14,
