SEOUL, Feb. 5 (Yonhap) -- "At first, I didn't know how to act, but gradually, I got to see the 'craziness' that was inherent in me."

Actor Wi Ha-jun talked about acting K, a character of a dual personality, in the ending interview of tvN’s Friday-Saturday drama “Bad and crazy,” held online on Friday.

The series, which recently ended, is a dark heroic drama that deals with split personality. While the viewership remained at 2~4%, the series was loved by a fan base with its unique plot about a corrupt cop Ryu Soo-yeol and his personified conscience and another personality, K.

Wi’s character K is ‘righteous and crazy’ which contrasts with Ryu Soo-yeol (Lee Dong-wook), a 'competent but bad guy.'

Wi said, “K, who is charismatic but also pure as a child, is a character with many charms,” adding, “I was worried and felt pressure because of the high tension and comical parts, but at the end, I was able to break my barriers after playing K.”

Wi also shared the difficulties of filming intense action scenes.

The actor said, "In the beginning, there was an action scene where I had to cover myself with waste oil, and I stayed up all night repeatedly falling because it was slippery," and added, "I was proud that the scene turned out fun."

Wi Ha-jun, who debuted with the movie “Chinatown” (2015), played the role of the police Hwang Jun-ho in the drama “Squid Game” on Netflix, and showed intense acting as a serial killer in the movie “Midnight.”

Wi shared, “I want to try acting another comic character and also a simple country boy,” adding, “There were some awkward parts when I did romantic comedy, but I think I could do it more comfortably.”
