SEOUL, Sep. 17 (Yonhap) -- Lisa of BLACKPINK has proved her jaw-dropping 'solo power' with her single album breaking the record of K-pop female singer's most sales for first week since release.

Lisa's solo single "LALISA," dropped on the 10th, recorded 736,000 copies of sales yesterday on Hanteo Chart, according to her agency YG Entertainment Friday.

BLACKPINK's main dancer has broken the record of her group set with their 1st regular album "The Album" for the most first-week sales for K-pop female artist (about 690,000 copies).

"The total figure on Hanteo Chart does not include some of the export sales to America and Europe. Including the sales overseas 'LALISA''s first-week sales would have passed way over 800,000 copies," said the agency.

As the band's "The Album," whixh recorded less first-week sales than "LALISA," became a million less than a month since release surpassing 1.2 million total sales, "LALISA" may also sell over a million copies.

Earlier in 4 days since the start of pre-orders, the solo album's pre-orders exceeded 700,000 copies predicting its mega hit.

The music video, with the same title, exceeded 73.6 million views on YouTube in 24 hours It has become the world's most viewed solo artist's music video.
