SEOUL October 04 (Yonhap) -- In preparation of the upcoming K-pop super star BTS’ upcoming free Busan concert “Yet to Come in Busan” Busan City Government will be executing the temporary plans regarding the public transportations, announced Busan City Government on Tuesday.
On the day of the concert the two extra trains of KTX heading up and down to Seoul and Busan will be added and an extra SRT train will be offered between Busan an Seoul. Continuing on two of the extra trains will be offered through Donghae Line which is one of the subway lines offered within the city of Busan.
Busan Gimhae Light Rail Transit will increase total of 24 extra trains decreasing the gap between trains from 6 to 8 minutes to 4 to 6 minutes.
Moreover, domestic flights between Incheon International Airport and Gimhae International Airport will have extra two more flights and the international flight between Busan and Japan will offered extra of three flights to seven per week.
Airport bus 307 will be rerouted in order to stop at the concert location, and 6 extra busses will be assigned.
All of the Busan city public metro system including lines one through four will add extra 50 trains and for the busses stop at the nearby concert location, 34 additional busses are planned to be assigned.
Frequency of the Public transportation which stops at North Port of Busan and Haeundae which will be streaming BTS’ concert live will be increased.
The Busan City Government plans to induce visitors who are using private mode of transpiration such as cars, to park at the nearby public parking lot and use the public transportation to get to the concert.
Also roads within the 300m to the concert venue will be blocked off.
In order for their plan to work Busan City Government will be creating a parking space which will be able to withhold over five thousand cars and 300 of the buses.
Moreover, the Busan city government will be using drones to broadcast the severity of current traffic congestion through YouTube on the day of the concert. The video will cover around 1.5 km ratio of the concert venue. Also the number of the available taxi unites will be increased.
