H1-KEY says "wish we could rank 1st on 'Idols one would want to work out with"

SEOUL, July 6 (Yonhap) --"As much as our concept is 'exercise idol' and have come out with a sporty concept, I wish we could rank 1st on 'Idols one would want to work out with.'"

The K-pop girl group H1-KEY revealed their ambition to imprint the image of "athletic idol" in the showcase commemorating the release of their maxi album "RUN" on July 6.

"Through this activity, we aim to have the title of summer queen in line with the sporty concept," said Riina.

"In this album, H1-KEY's unique health and freshness for summer has been added," said leader Seoi as she introduced the album.

H1-KEY, who is coming back with a new album in six months, plans to show off costumes and choreographs inspired by various sports including golf, tennis, and basketball through this album.

The genre of the title song "Run," which is of the same name as the album title is "Teen Pop" and "Pop Rock" while featuring a whistling riff at the beginning. Former member Sitala, who left in May for personal reasons, also participated in writing the lyrics for this song.

"It contains the solidity and teenage vibes of H1-KEY," said member Yel.

The album also contains the songs "Catch 'n' Release," which solves diet problems, "Heart Light" that makes people want to travel, and "H1-KEY Voice Letter for M1-KEY."

"This track is a voice message for all the M1-KEYs (fandom name)," said Riina. "This is a heartfelt letter for the M1-KEYs in various languages including Korean."

H1-KEY also made a promise for M1-KEY.

"If we get good music scores, we'll wear any stage costumes that our fans would want us to wear," Seoi said, smiling.
