SEOUL February 13 (Yonhap) -- Seven member K-pop girl group HashTag has been appointed as the honorary ambassador of Chungju city located within North Chungcheong Province.

HashTag will work as the honorary ambassador of Chungju city for the upcoming two years to heighten the value of the city through various activities.

K-pop girl group HashTag which released group’s digital single album “My Style” in 2019, has been focused on unit activities due to wide spread of COVID 19 will return to the music scene as a full group in April of 2023.

Mayor of Chungju city Cho Gil-hyung, addressed “Just as the rain after a long wait moistens the land, we hope that HashTag's activities as the honorary ambassador of the city will serve as a welcoming rain for both Chungju City and the group.
