SEOUL, April 8 (Yonhap) -- Famous Trot singer Lim Young-woong's "My Starry Love" showed impressive download records, topping the monthly Download chart category on the Gaon Music Chart last month.
The Korea Music Content Association (KMCA), a division that runs Gaon Chart, announced on the 8th that "My Starry Love" topped the monthly Download Chart, BGM chart, Bell chart, and coloring chart in March, winning four gold medals.
In particular, "My Starry Love" was also found to have topped the weekly Download Chart for four consecutive weeks (from March 7-April 3).
"My Starry Love" was also well received last month, ranking third overall on the digital chart, which takes into consideration of the number of downloads, streaming, and BGM use. This also seems to have been one of the reasons to the high number of downloads overall.
Meanwhile, last month's number one song overall on the Gaon Music Chart's Digital chart and Streaming chart was "Rollin" by the K-pop girl group, Brave Girls, which caused a comeback in popularity.
