SEOUL, August 29 (Yonhap) -- "I think this album is considered special because I will be showing sexy concepts that I've never shown."Singer and actor Lee Jin-hyuk will be coming back in 10 months as a solo artist with his fifth mini album, "5ight."
At his press conference held in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on Monday, he said, "It will be an album about love, to which everyone will be able to relate" and added, "I tried to express sexiness and alluring concepts for this album," he laughed while saying.
Lee Jin-hyuk showed off his masculine charm instead of his playful boyish charm that he showed in his fourth mini-album "Ctrl+V,", which was released in October last year.
There will be six tracks on his new album "5IGHT," including his title song "Crack," and side tracks "EXIT," "TOY," "Morning Call," "Rooftop," and "Jungle."
The title song, "Crack," is an alternative rock genre song that expresses what it feels like when you suddenly fall in love. Lee Jin-hyuk explained, "It expressed the thrill and confusion that people feel when they first fall in love."
The side track "Jungle," has a basis in hip-hop but is a pop genre song, Lee Jin-hyuk participated in writing the lyrics and composing the song and perfected the song. He said, "I tried to express the cold society where we compete and bump into each other" and added, "I tried to represent the feelings of my fans."
Lee Jin-hyuk gained popularity actively performing as both actor and singer. He played Nam Chun-Poong in the SBS drama "Why Her?" which aired in June.
